It’s hard to grasp what markets HIP-3 will enable.
Obviously we will have
Equity Perps with @hyperunit
Volatility Index with @volmexfinance
Pre IPO Markets with @ventuals_
But I am most excited for new markets that would not be possible without HIP-3
Compute Index @computeindex - this will be huge for AI since it allows to manage risk around GPU prices
Housing Index 🏡
Many RWA projects are preparing to launch with HIP-3.
Rare earths and gold. ⛏️
Mining companies would benefit greatly from launching a Perp Market.
Credit Markets and bonds 💵

1️⃣ Spot Market fees of HYPE/USDC
2️⃣ HyperEVM fees

But with time 2️⃣ will burn more. And we already saw days of 1k burns like on @baldbrothers_ mint. We don’t need to 10x users to 10x gas fee burn.

Is this a career risk if HYPE ends up not working?
Yes. But well worth the risk.
