The creator of Trollface refuses to participate in the Solana chain Meme coin, stating that they do not want to interfere with artistic expression.
[Block Rhythm] On August 7, it was reported that Carlos Ramirez, the creator of the classic internet meme "Trollface," stated that he is "not interested" in participating in the Meme coin issued on the Solana blockchain based on his creation, as the capitalist nature of the crypto industry interferes with artistic expression. However, he also ruled out the possibility of taking legal action against the token, although he seemed to have promoted another Troll token earlier this year and on Tuesday.
Carlos Ramirez stated that he "often" receives offers of Token shares from projects related to the Trollface meme, and he said: "If I can't sell, this money means nothing to me; but if I sell, it will crash the market. And frankly, I don't want to be responsible for someone else's financial ruin."
In the past two weeks, the price of the Meme coin Troll surged by over 1,050%, with its market capitalization rising from $16.12 million to over $184 million. According to data from the data platform, it has become the 32nd largest Meme coin in the world, surpassing Moo Deng, Aura, and Melania coin.
