Confidence in Canadian SMEs rebounds from a low point, suggesting the worst may be over.

Jin10 data reported on July 17 that the confidence index of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business rose to 50.9 in July. The index had fallen to a historic low of 25.5 in March due to heightened uncertainties related to tariffs, but has now shown a significant rebound. This indicates that most business owners expect sales to rise in the next 12 months. Overall, the report suggests that small businesses believe the worst period related to uncertainties brought on by tariffs may be over.
